The route to the Sin La abounds in exotic scenery, Ancient village, snowcapped mountains, gushing streams, Alpine meadows and a rich variety of flora & fauna.

This trek route is better if you start from Vyas valley and ends to Darma. this trek Also known as the Chota Kailash Trek, its not just a spiritual pilgrimage. Part of this trek follows the Kailash Mansovar trek route before diverging at Gunji to head towards Jolingkong and Parvati Sarover.
One of the high altitude mountain passes in the Indian Himalayan region and located at an elevation of 5,495 meters, Sin La in the Kumaon Himalaya in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand is an incredible trekking destination that haunts travellers. you can enjoy and capture the magnificent sight of the Adi Kailash Peak that stands at a height of 6,191 meters.

Day 01 Kathgodam / Dharchula
Drive approximately 09 hrs. to Dharchula via Almora. En route we will enjoy the scenic beauty of terraced fields, villages and snow clad Himalayan mountains At distant horizon we can still see Nanda Devi sometime en route and other peaks. Dharchula is a beautiful town . On arrival check in to the hotel.

Day 02 Dharchula / Najang / Bundi (03 hrs. drive)
In the morning we will take a 03 hrs. drive to Najang, which is our trekking point . we will start our trekking to bundi via Malpa. The trek is full of adventures. The trek between Najang and Budi involves a steep descent alongside the river. The velocity of the current is so high that one feels dizzy looking at it. Dinner and overnight stay in Home stay or Guest House.

Day 03 Bundi / Gunji – 7 Hrs. Trek
Today we start our trekking after breakfast , first 02 hrs. we have to ascend till Chhiyalake , where we have to show our Inner line permit to ITBP. after that we descend to village Garbyang and then trek to our destination Gunji. Its almost 17 kms trek to Gunji, which takes 6 – 7 hrs. overnight in home stay or guest house.

Day 04 Gunji / Kuti – 7 hrs. Trek
From Gunji the trek to Kuti, which is approximately 17 kilometers away, is filled with several beautiful landscapes includs uphill, downhill and narrow tracks randomly scattered and sharp twists. Overnight stay and dinner at guest House.

Day 05 Kuti / Jolingkong – 07 Hrs. Trek
Kuti is a last village of vyas valley and trek from here to Jolingkong is very beautiful. total distance is 17 Km, which takes 07 hrs. Overnight stay and dinner at KMVN guest House.

Day 06 Jolinkong – Day Excursion
Today we have rest day or we can trek to parvati sarovar and gauri kund, which is nearby. Afternoon we trek few more kilometer upto gauri kund for acclimatization and back to camp.

Day 07 Jolinkong / Sin La / Bidang – 08 – 09 hrs. trek.

We will start early in the morning 0300 hrs. to sin la with pack lunch. From Jolinkong a steep climb heads to Gauri Kund and then the route goes to Bidang via Sin La. on route we can enjoy and capture the magnificent sight of the Adi Kailash Peak that stands at a height of 6,191 meters. approximately 0800 am we will be at the top of sin la, and take some rest and trek down to Bidang. overnight stay and dinner at KMVN guest House.

Day 08 Bidang / Dantu – Drive to Dharchula
From Bidang to Dantu is easy trek and it takes 4 hrs. to reach dantu village, where our jeep will be waiting for us and we drive 04 hrs. to Dharchula. overnight stay and dinner at guest House or Hotel.

Day 09 Dharchula / Kathgodam
Drive 09 hrs. to Kathgodam for onwards destination.
