The beautiful valley situated at an altitude ranging from 3300 mts to 3650 mts. Known as a paradise for nature lovers, the valley is replete with a wide array of flower varieties, and boasts of the largest collection of wild flowers species, the “Valley” has about 520 identified species of flowering plants! The area was declared as a National Park in 1982, and renamed The Valley Of Flowers National Park.

This valley is 10 km long and 2 km wide. Trek to Valley of Flowers starts from Govindghat or Govind Dham, which is 25 kms from Joshimath. Valley of flowers is 17 Kms from Govindghat. For overnight stay one can find basic hotels in Ghangaria (which is 14 kms from Govindghat) as overnight camping in not allowed in valley. This complete route is a well-laid cobbled path.

01 DELHI
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing of Old & New Delhi, visiting, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Shanti Van, Humayun Tomb, President House, India Gate and Qutab Minar.

02 DELHI/RISHIKESH (340 m)
We drive 224 km/ 7 to Rishikesh. Check in hotel. Evening at Sun set witness Ganga Arti (worship) on the Bank of Ganga river.

03 RISHIKESH – JOSHMATH (270 kms, 8-9 hrs Drive)
After early breakfast leave for Joshimath. Enroute stop in Devprayag to witness the confluence of river Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to form holy river Ganges. Proceed further. Enroute lunch at Srinagar. Reach Joshimath by evening. On arrival check in hotel or guest house. Overnight at camp / hotel.

04 JOSHIMATH – GOVINDGHAT – GHAGHARIA (25 kms drive, 14 km TREK)
After early breakfast leave for Govindghat by road. Prepare for trek on arrival and then leave on the trek to Ghangaria. Reach Ghangaria late in the afternoon. On arrival check in hotel or guest house. Overnight at hotel.

05 GHAGHRIA – VALLEY OF FLOWERS – GHAGHRIA : (6-9 Km TREK)
After breakfast leave for valley of flowers with pack lunch. Enjoy the beauty of rare high Himalayan flora at its best. The valley is at a height of 3342 mts to 3660 mts and is declared a national park for very rare high Himalayan flora. Return back to Ghangaria. Overnight at hotel.

06 GHAGHRIA – HEMKUND SAHIB – GHAGHRIA : (8 kms trek)
After breakfast leave for Hemkund Sahib (a Sikh religious place) on the banks of Hemkund Lake at a height of 4320 mts. This trek is gradual ascent on the cobbled path from the altitude of 3049 mts to 4320 mts in just 5 kms. Return to Ghangaria by evening. Overnight at hotel.

07 GHAGHRIA – GOVINDGHAT- BADRINATH (14 kms trek, 25 kms drive)
After breakfast trek down to Govindghat. Proceed for Badrinath by car. On arrival check in hotel. After lunch visit the main temple of Lord Vishnu. Also visit Mana Village, last village on Indian side to Tibet border. Overnight at hotel.

08 BADRINATH – GWALDAM : (250 kms / 8-9 hrs)
Early morning leave for Gwaldam, through Joshimath, Karnpriyag and Shimli. Lunch Enroute. Reach Gwaldam by evening. On arrival check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.

09 GWALDAM – KAUSANI – ALMORA: (165 kms / 6-7 hrs Drive)
Morning after breakfast leave for Nainital via Kausani, en route visit Baijinath Shiva and Parvati Temples. On arrival at Almora check in hotel rest of the time visit Nanda Devi Demple. Overnight at hotel.

10 ALMORA-NAINITAL
Early in the morning drive to Nainital, on arrival visit the lake city, Nainital is a hill station set around Naini Lake, named after Naina (eyes) of Parvati, Lord Shiva’s wife. It is believed that emerald lake is one of the green eyes of her. Overnight in guest house/hotel.
11 NAINITAL – DELHI
Drive to Delhi and transfer to airport for next destination.
